Childhood Cancer During the Current Pandemic

POGO needs your help now more than ever to help reduce the impact that COVID-19 is having on the childhood cancer community.

Under normal circumstances, families with a child in treatment face an economic hit as one parent gives up work to care for their sick child. The current pandemic situation is compounding this financial burden.

In addition to worrying about the future as it relates to school and job loss, many childhood cancer survivors are experiencing heightened anxiety; due to underlying conditions they may have as a result of their disease or its treatment, they fear they are at higher risk for developing complications if they catch COVID-19.
