September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and with that comes reflection—on the incredible progress made on many fronts to achieve an 85% survival rate and the road still ahead to minimize the long-term impacts survivors can face. Stephanie Lecasse 2024From Sudbury to Toronto in the Blink of an Eye 
Stephanie Lacasse brought her daughter Isabelle to the hospital for what she imagined was a urinary tract infection. What transpired from there was far from routine. The family found themselves on a plane ride from Sudbury to Toronto for a journey that would keep them away from home for close to two months.
