A New Normal: My Post-cancer Reality Jacob, a musician, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at the age of 16. Though his disease and its treatment have come with physical and emotional complications, the support of his family, friends and POGO continue to help him move forward and adjust to a “new normal.”

Improving the Quality of Supportive Care Made possible by a gift from her estate, with additional funds from private-sector donations to POGO, the Dr. Mariana Silva POGO Research Award was granted to Dr. Lillian Sung and team for their project designed to leverage electronic health records and provide real-time feedback to improve the quality of supportive care.
