Creative Corner Gabriel C.'s handmade wooden tree ornaments Gabriel C., a 19-year-old medulloblastoma survivor, made these beautiful wooden tree ornaments last year. He found a picture of a truck with a tree in the back, traced it on a piece of paper and cut it out with his exacto knife to create the pattern. Then he got a piece of pine, which he cut into 3”-long pieces, and traced the pattern on each one. He carved them all by hand, sanded them and painted them. You can buy Gabriel’s creations on Kijiji for ten dollars each: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-holiday-event-seasonal/hamilton/hand-carved-christmas-tree-ornaments/1596058041?undefined.
