Be a Champion for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

LINKED for Life

I am writing to you today to ask that you support LINKED for Life, a campaign to demonstrate to survivors like us, and young patients currently in cancer treatment, that they are not alone and that they have the support of the larger community.
 s2s 2022 presenter Olivia
I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at the age of 17. Having cancer as a teenager taught me that healing is a process. If I could turn back time and give myself advice when I was in treatment, I would tell myself to not focus on the milestones I am missing or how many treatment days I have left to go, but, rather, how many chemos I have already done and how much strength I have shown.

This September, help build a chain of 10,000 colourful links to show your support for young patients, families and survivors of childhood cancer.

You may choose to donate and/or share the link to ask others to donate.
For every $5 donated to the LINKED for Life campaign, one link will be created in the name of the purchaser (or someone they choose to commemorate). Paper chains will be displayed in POGO partner hospitals across Ontario and colourful links will be featured on a digital donor wall on the LINKED for Life website.

You may choose to register yourself or team, fundraise and share your story.
Create a page and share your reason for participating in LINKED for Life. Ask friends and family to support this campaign by making a donation to get their own link(s) to help the chain grow.
