Summer Student Jobs with the Ontario Government There are over 5000 summer student job opportunities within the Ontario Public Service and related agencies. These jobs are varied and in exciting fields such as Customer Service, Engineering, Enforcement, Language, Parks, Policy and many more. Openings are currently posted and deadlines to apply are coming up very soon. Do you have an idea for a business and need some help getting it off the ground? The Ontario government has a special program that provides start up funds for students to kick-off a new summer business and arranges mentorship with local businesses to help get you started. Applications are currently being accepted so check out https://www.ontario.ca/page/start-summer-company-students for more information. Funding for Summer Jobs for Employers Do you have an employer in mind that you’d like to work with this summer? Or maybe you have a connection in your community that you’d like to turn into a summer job. The Government of Canada provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. Employers will need to complete a full application to be considered for the funding but you can help by letting a potential employer know about this opportunity.
