Summer Job Opportunities

Here are a few tips to find a summer job or volunteer opportunity:

• Apply early and to as many jobs as you can!
• Make sure your résumé is up to date – remember, you can get help with your résumé by contacting your SAVTI counsellor.
• Do your research on available jobs and find what interests you and works with your schedule.

City Employment

Go to your city's website and look for student employment programs.

Oncology Camps Volunteering/Employment

• Camp Ooch: www.ooch.org/volunteer – You need to be 19. Applications are accepted in December and January.
• Camp Quality: www.campquality.org/volunteer/ – You need to be 18 and 2019 applications are now open.
• Camp Trillium: www.camptrillium.com/get-involved/ – You need to be 18. Both volunteers and paid staff are being recruited. Fill out the application online.

Check local college and university job boards for opportunities as well.
