Gabriel C.'s handmade wooden tree ornaments

Gabriel C., a 19-year-old medulloblastoma survivor, made these beautiful wooden tree ornaments last year. He found a picture of a truck with a tree in the back, traced it on a piece of paper and cut it out with his exacto knife to create the pattern. Then he got a piece of pine, which he cut into 3”-long pieces, and traced the pattern on each one. He carved them all by hand, sanded them and painted them.
